Terms of Use

By using Aerostructures Toolkit, you agree to use it only as a general learning and quick-reference aid. The app is provided as available without a promise that every item is complete, current or suitable for a particular aircraft, task or organisation.

You remain responsible for confirming every part number, material, specification, finish, size, substitution, effectivity and application against current approved data. You must follow applicable law, employer rules and authorised maintenance procedures.

Aviation safety disclaimer

This app is not approved maintenance data and does not replace an SRM, AMM, CMM, IPC, engineering order, repair drawing, manufacturer instruction or your organisation’s controlled procedures. It must not be used to design, approve, certify or release a repair, determine airworthiness, or override an authorised engineering disposition.

If damage is outside approved limits or the applicable data is unclear, stop and obtain instructions from the type certificate holder, manufacturer or authorised engineering organisation through the proper channel.

Privacy Policy

The app may process sign-in identity and email, personal workshop records, uploaded photos, comments and moderation information so it can provide account-specific records, owner review and public contributions. Device storage may keep offline content, favourites and your one-time legal acknowledgement.

Information is retained as needed to operate the service, protect it and preserve records you choose to save. Do not submit personal data about another person. The app does not claim to sell your personal information.

Privacy-friendly usage analytics record anonymous session totals, device category, installed-app or domain use, connection status and feature activity. Search words, photo contents, names, email addresses and IP addresses are not stored in analytics. Analytics are visible only to the app owner.

Photos, comments and other uploads

You may upload content only when you own it or have permission to share it. Do not upload employer work cards, manufacturer drawings, customer information, export-controlled material, proprietary repair instructions, confidential data or content that violates another person’s rights.

Uploaded public content may be reviewed, edited for safety or clarity, rejected or removed by the owner. Image metadata may be removed during processing. Approval for display does not make an upload approved maintenance data.

Sources, copyright and intellectual property

The toolkit uses original short summaries, general reference information and user-provided identifiers. Copyright, trademarks and source materials remain the property of their respective owners. Do not copy restricted manuals, drawings or substantial protected content into the app.

Where Updates or Jobs show an external item, verify the original source, publication date, recruiter or employer and official link. Aerostructures Toolkit is not the employer, recruiter, publisher or guarantor of those listings.

Changes to these terms

The app and these notices may be updated as features or requirements change. A revised acknowledgement may be shown when a material change requires your attention.

Account records and data deletion

You can delete individual personal Workshop records from your account. To request removal of other account data or a public upload, use the in-app feedback or contact channel and identify the record without sending additional controlled information.
